DIED AT THE AGE OF 85. Henry Sadler ot Atlantic Highlands Died Suddenly Saturday. Henry Sadler, who lived with his granddaughter, Mrs. Hugh Gregerson of Atlantic Highlands, died suddenly of heart disease Saturday. He was in his 86th year. Mr. Sadler was born at Navesink and lived there until a few years ago, when he moved to Atlantic Highlands. He leaves a daughter, Mrs. George Manning of Bridgeton. Mr. Sadler followed the water for a number of years and then became a farmer. He gave up farming after a few years and for ten years was employed by the street department of Atlantic Highlands. Mr. Sadler enjoyed the companionship of boys and the boys liked to be with him. Whenever he went to a football game or a baseball game he would be accompanied by several boys. A resident of this place recalled a trip to Philadelphia during the Centennial celebration in 1876. He said that a group of boys wanted to attend the celebration and their parents agreed to let hem go if Mr. Sadler would go with them and look after them. Mr. Sadler gladly consented and the party spent three days at Philadelphia. This fondness for youth Mr. Sadler retained for the rest of his life. The funeral of Mr. Sadler was held yesterday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Gregerson and was in charge of Rev. Oliver C. Apgar. Burial was made at Bay View cemetery. Red Bank Register, December 4, 1929
