A salesman for Stratton Terstagge Hardware Company, he was a member of the Presbyterian church and had served as an elder and the board of trustees. He was a past president of the Poplar Bluff Lions Club and was a veteran of World War II.
In addition to his wife, he leaves three daughters, May Jean, Ann and Betty. of the home; and two brothers, J.E. and Melvin Crowe.
Funeral services were held at the Presbyterian church in Poplar Bluff, Thursday morning, with burial in City Cemetery.
