COCHRAN --- Funeral services for Lawton Hart Sr., 49, who died Tuesday at his home after a long illness, will be held at 4pm Wednesday at Southside Baptist Church with the Rev. J. W. Brantley and the Rev. O. B. Haymon officiating.
Burial will be in Hart Cemetery.
Mr. Hart, a retired farmer, was a lifelong resident of Bleckley County.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Daisy Cranford Hart; a son, Lawton Jr. of Cochran; a daughter, Mrs. Herman Hodge of Empire; mother, Mrs. Lilla P. Hart of Cochran; four sisters, Mrs. James Hamlin and Mrs. Richard Hall, both of Cochran, Mrs. Ben F. Boone of Valdosta, and Mrs. Bernard Horton of Dublin; two brothers, Louis of Cochran and Robert of Pampa, Tex.; and two grandchildren.
