She was born on Feb. 24, 1927, in New Market and was a daughter of the late Jasper Harrison Foltz and Alma Lynn Golladay Foltz Waybright.
Before retiring, Mrs. Barb had been employed in the food service, clothing manufacturing and poultry processing industries.
She was a member of the Reformation Lutheran Church in New Market.
On Aug. 18, 1950, she married Harry Calvin Barb, who died on Sept. 12, 1976.
She is survived by a daughter, Bruccie Barb Lindamood of Edinburg;
a half sister, Jessie Waybright Shirkey of York, Pa.; two half brothers, John Waybright of Luray and James Waybright of Luray and James Waybright of Salisbury, Md.; and two nieces.
She was preceded in death by a son, Delford Dean Barb; and two sisters, Erva Foltz Noel and Corinne Foltz Messick.
A graveside service was conduced on Sunday, July 1, at St. Matthews Cemetery next to the Reformation Lutheran Church in New Market.
