Date: Wednesday, May 24, 1967

Edwin Lovelace
Services Today

Edwin E. Lovelace, 68, of Shawmut was pronounced dead on arrival at George H. Lanier Memorial Hospital at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday after an apparent heart attack.

Funeral services for Mr. Lovelace were scheduled to be held at 5 p.m. today at Shawmut First Baptist Church with the Rev. Jack Neill and J. H. King, officiating. Burial will be in Shawmut Cemetery

A native of Chambers County, Mr. Lovelace was a member of the Shawmut First Baptist Church and the Shawmut Masonic Lodge.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Iris Walker Lovelace; a son, Edwin E. Lovelace, Jr., of Orem, Utah; two daughters, Mrs. Harold Bailey of Shawmut and Mrs. Owen Colley of Fairfax; two brothers, Charlie and Herman Lovelance, both of Mobile; two sisters, Mrs. Elton Rice and Mrs. J. B, McGill, both of Shawmut and ten grandchildren..
