Lancaster - Goodman Franklyn Taylor, 79 retired farmer of the Tabernacle Community, died at his home late Friday after a long illness.
He was the son of the late Jefferson Jackson and Nancy Irby Taylor of Lancaster County
Survivors include his widow, the former Pearl Mae Steele, five daughters, Mrs. I.W. Parker of Lancaster, Mrs. C.P. Williams, Mrs. W.F. Goodman and Miss Sara Taylor of Charlotte, and Mrs. Keith Little of Parkersburg, W. Va., two sons, Robert P. Taylor of the home and Jasper R. Taylor of Lancaster; 10 grandchildren; one great grandchild and one sister, Mrs. John Snipes of Lancaster.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday from the Tabernacle Methodist Church. The burial will be in the church cemetery.
