Tuesday, about 12 o'clock, Col. M. H. Crowell died of pnuemonia in this city. For some years the deceased figured conspicuously as a radical politician in this parish, though for the last two years he has taken but little interest in politics. At the time of his death he held the position of United Stated Commissioner.
