RADKIEWICZ-Narcis I., of Elizabeth, formerly of Nanticoke, Pa., beloved husband of Marjorie (Kenjorski) Radkiewicz, devoted father of Judy Golden of Rahway, loving grandfather of Jennifer and Patrick Golden, loving brother of Verna Lambux of Failess Hills, Pa., and Mrs. Irene Murphy of North Plainfield, N.J. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the HIGGINS & BONNER FUNERAL HOME, 414 Westminster Ave., Elizabeth, on Monday, Nov. 7, 1988, at 8:15 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be offered at 9 a.m., St. Catherines Church, Hillside. Interment will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Nanticoke, Pa. Friends may call Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9.

N.I. Radkiewicz, 71, recieved Flying Cross

A Mass fo Narcis I. Radkiewicz, 71, of Elizabeth, a recipient of the Distinguished Flying Cross, will be offered at 9 a.m. Monday in St. Catherine's Church, Hillside, following the funeral from the Higgins & Bonner Funeral Home, 414 Westminster Ave., Elizabeth.

Mr. Radkiewicz died Thursday in the St. Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston.

He had been an instrument maker with the Weston Instrument Corp., Newark, for 30 years before retiring in 1982. He then was a crossing guard in Elizabeth for the past six years. Mr. Radkiewicz was an usher at St. Catherine's Church, a member of the American Legion Post 350 of Nanticoke, Pa., and a member of the 50-50 Club at the Weston Instrument Corp.

Mr. Radkiewicz served in the Army Air Force during World War II as a gunner in a B-24 bomber, flying 35 missions over Germany. His plane was severely damaged by German fire but managed to make it back to Great Britain on one engine before crash landing.

Born in Nanticoke, he lived in Elizabeth for 36 years.

Survivng are his wife, Marjorie; a daughter Mrs. Judy Golden; two sisters, Mrs. Verna Lambux and Mrs. Irene Murphy, and two grandchildren.
