Augusta Blanch Brown was the daughter of Charles F Brown 1845 and Margaret Morrow. She grew up in Appleton, Wisconsin.
She married Frank Ellsworth Cottrell, the son of Francis Marion Cottrell and Martha Matilda Naramore, on May 16, 1885.
The couple lived in Elderon, Marathon County, Wisconsin up until about 1930, when they moved to Menasha, Winnebago County, Wisconsin.
They had the following children:
Edna Maud 1885, married John W Elliott and Joseph Peter Walter. Lived in Elderon, Marathan County, Wisconsin and later Menahsa, Winnebago, Wisconsin. One child.
Faye L 1887, married Rose Bart, lived in Marathon County, and Neenah, Winnebago County. Three children.
Earl J 1892, married Adel Sarah Katherine Christiansen, lived in Menasha and Omro, Winnebago County. One child.
Warren Wilbur 1897, married Jennie I Nyman, lived in Menasha and Neenah, Winnebago County, Wisconsin.
Clarissa May 1901, married Charles Stanley Gehrke, lived in Menominee, Michigan, Menasha, Winnebago County, Wisconsin. Died in Roseville, California. Four children.
Harold B 1904 - 1924. Drowned in Lake Poygan.
Charlotte Hope 1907, married Frederick J Muenzel in Waukegan, Illinois, lived in Menasha and Neenah, Winnebago County, Wisconsin. Three children.
Dorothy E 1913, married Roman Zielinski, lived in Menasha, Winnebago, Wisconsin. Died in Bradenton, Manatee, Florida.
