Son of Michael A. Moriello and Gertrude Di Georgio Moriello.

Nicholas, who resided at 208 North Gray Avenue, Wilmington, Delaware, served as a Private First Class with the 137th Infantry Regiment, 35th Infantry Division, Third Army, U.S. Army during World War II.

He enlisted in the Army on January 23, 1943 in Camden, New Jersey. He was noted as Single, without dependents.

He was "Killed In Action" in France.

He had served in the Army for one year and eight months at the time of his death and was decorated with a Purple Heart.
