Private Virgil LARSEN was killed in action while serving with the 317th Infantry Regiment of the U. S. Army 80th Division. He was posthumously awarded the Purple Heart.

Virgil LARSEN and Amelia Marjorie HODORFF were married on July 27, 1941 at the First Congregational Church in Little Falls, Morrison County, Minnesota.
