"Son of Pioneer County Farmer Dies Suddenly While Wife Phones For Aid - Fairmount, Ill - December 1 - Isaac Milton Busby, 64, died unexpectedly Monday morning of heart trouble at his home. He had suffered with the disease for many years but had appeared to be in as good health as usual Sunday. Monday morning he suggested to his wife that they clean the hen house and after she had put on her wraps, she noticed that he was looking queer. She helped him to a chair and gave him a dose of medicine, and asked if she could call a neighbor. He nodded and while she was phoning H.G. Carrington, he died, dropping the glass of medicine which he held in his hand.

Mr. Busby was one of eight children of the late Isaac and Sallie Busbuy, pioneer farmers here. He was born on a farm southeast of Fairmount and lived there until his marriage to Miss Anna Yerkes, of Fairmount. They had lived here practically all their married live with the exception of one year spent on a farm in Indiana.

Surviving besides the widow are two sisters, Mrs. Carrie Runyan and Mrs. Margaret Cox, both of Fairmount, and two brothers, Horace Busby, of Jacksonville, and William Busby, of Canute, Oklahoma. A daughter, Miss Garnet Busby, a prominent teacher and musician died 16 years ago. Mr. Busby was a lifelong member of the Methodist Church.

N.E. Carrington is in charge of the body. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. A.R. Wassell at the M.E. church at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon. Interment will be in Greenview cemetery." - Commercial News, Danville, Illinois December 1930
