Raymond served as a Technician Fifth Grade, 104th Medical Battalion, 29th Infantry Division, U.S. Army during World War II.

He resided in Baltimore, Maryland prior to the war.

He enlisted in the Maryland National Guard on February 3, 1941, prior to the war, in Towson, Maryland. He was noted as being employed as a Semiskilled mechanic and also as Single, without dependents.

Raymond "Died Of Wounds" received in action during the war and was awarded the Purple Heart.
