Abraham served as a Second Lieutenant & Navigator on B-24J "Bottle Baby" #44-40169, 856th Bomber Squadron, 492nd Bomber Group, Heavy, U.S. Army Air Forces during World War II.

He resided in New York prior to the war.

Abraham was declared "Missing In Action" when his B-24 was attacked by German Aircraft and was shot down and crashed into the Baltic Sea during the war. He was awarded the Air Medal with one Oak Leaf Cluster and the Purple Heart.
