Rodolphe served as a Carpenter's Mate Third Class, U.S.S. Dickerson (DD-157), U.S. Navy during World War II.

He resided in Brunswick, Cumberland County, Maine prior to the war.

Rodolphe was declared "Missing In Action" when the Dickerson was hit by a Japanese kamikaze off Okinawa during the war. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
