In memory of PVT Herbert O. Wright, 137th Infantry Regiment, company "A" for his service and sacrifice. He was wounded in action in November (France). After recovering he came back to the front. He was KIA on January 11th, 1945. He is buried at the American Cemetery in Luxemburg, plot B, row 2, grave 46. Let us never forget!

Herbert Owen Wright was killed in action in Belgium at the age of 23 during WW II. He and my mother had 2 sons, the first died as an infant and Bob, the second, lived to age 60 before he took his own life. Bob was not yet 1 when his father was killed and he never got over the loss of a father he never knew.
