Son of Mr. & Mrs. John G. Kasper who resided in Elmhurst, New York.

Rudolph served as a Staff Sergeant & Asst. Engineer / Gunner on B-24J #44-40725, 319th Bomber Squadron, 90th Bomber Group, Heavy, U.S. Army Air Force during World War II.

He resided in Queens County, New York prior to the war.

Rudolph was declared "Missing In Action" when his B-24, while returning from a raid over Balikpapan, Borneo, was shot down by a Japanese fighter over the Pacific during the war.

He was awarded and Air Medal with 3 Oak Leaf Clusters and a Purple Heart.
