Funeral services were held at Sharon Tuesday for James Cooper Mangum, aged and highly esteemed citizen of this section, who died at his home Monday. Services were conducted by the Rev. A. J. Boyles, who was assisted by Rev. D. W. Moulder, and interment followed in the Sharon cemetery with the Mims Mitchell Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Mangum was 83 years of age.
He is survived by four sons, H. C. Mangum, D. W. Mangum, A. J. Mangum, of Magee, J. D. Mangum of Puckett, and one daughter, Mrs. A. A. Hester, Magee.
He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
