Erma E. Ghosey, 95, of DeSoto, KS, passed away Wednesday, August 4, 2010, at Hillside Village Nursing Home. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 7, at the Porter Funeral Home, 8535 Monrovia Lenexa, KS, friends may call 5-7 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home. Burial in Highland Park Cemetery, Kansas City, KS. Memorial contributions are suggested to; Gift of Life, 6405 Metcalf Ave. Ste. 109 Overland Park, KS 66202. www.giftdonor.org. Erma was born September 13, 1914, just outside of Eldon, MO, the youngest daughter of Thomas and Estelle Giddens. She worked in food service at Wyandotte High School for many years and was a former member of Grandview and Calvary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Lucian in 1979. Erma is survived by her son and his wife, Lowell and Teresa Ghosey, Olathe, KS, two granddaughters, Lauren Bradley, Tulsa, OK, and Morgan Ghosey, Olathe, KS.
