OBITUARY
THE CHARITON DEMOCRAT
Chariton, Iowa
Thursday, June 9, 1892
ETHEL E. ANDREWS
The ever unwelcome visitor, death, entered the peaceful, happy home of the Andrews family last Tuesday at 2 p.m., and claimed for his victim the light of the household, the choicest of all, Ethel E., daughter of C. L. and E. C. Andrews. For 5 weeks she suffered from a complication of diseases which she bore with heroic courage and patience.
She was born in Adair county, Iowa, March 7, 1883, and all who knew her were her friends. Lonely indeed will be that home, sad and sorrowful the parents, yet not in clouds, gloom and darkness, but in the bright light and hope of a glorious resurrection, where there shall be no more partings.
The funeral took place Wednesday afternoon, and the remains were interred in the Chariton cemetery.
