Ruth Louise Cook-Krumrine, 87, of Westminster, died Monday, Aug. 2, 2010, at the home of her daughters, Jane Bankert and Dianne Anderson.

Born Jan. 1, 1923, in Berkeley Springs, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late William Jennings and Mamie O'Dell Hutton Null.

She was the wife of the late Forrest Ray Cook, who died in 1966, and of the late Claude L. Krumrine Sr., who she married in 1998.

She spent most of her youth in Scottsville and Charlottesville, Va. As a young adult, she moved with her first husband, and family to Westminster. Following his death, she remained in Westminster until finally settling in Taneytown. After her second marriage, she returned to Westminster. She had worked for several organizations in the area, including Carroll County Hospital, now Carroll Hospital Center, and the Carroll County School Board until her retirement. She was a member of Bethel Assembly of God, in Littlestown, Pa., where she served as a volunteer, preparing meals for grieving families.

Surviving are daughters Martha Jane Bankert and Dianne Anderson, both of Gettysburg, Pa., and Phyllis Ray Wilson, of Sykesville; a son, Forrest Gregory Cook, of Haymarket, Va.; grandchildren Stacy Wilson, Kimberly Jenkins and Jerri Cole, all of Taneytown, Jennifer Bankert, of Westminster, Denise Cook, of Chicago, Alex Cook, of Chehalis, Wash., and Katherine Cook, of Portland, Ore.; six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; stepdaughters Deanna Cuevas, of Groveland, Fla., and Karen Abidi, of Germantown; and a sister, Willie Mae Livesay, of Keymar.

She was predeceased by a sister, Eva Virginia Stonesifer; and a brother, Edward Jennings Null.

Interment in Keysville Union Cemetery in Keymar.
