Doug Ford of Lequire, Oklahoma passed away July 31, 2010 in Stigler, Oklahoma at the age of 40. He was born December 20, 1969 in Poteau, Oklahoma to Foyl and Edie Jean Ford. He loved being outdoors, camping, and spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Amanda, of the home; three sons, Dyllon Miller and fiance, Autumn, of Stigler, OK; Ezra and Elijah Ford, of the home; his parents; one sister, Melisa Blaylock and husband, Melvin, of McCurtain; three brothers, Marty Ford of McCurtain, David Ford and wife, Donna, of Wister, and John Ford and wife, Ruth Ann, of Stigler; one granddaughter, Ashlyn Jade Miller of Stigler; five nieces and nephews, Brian Ford, Candace Ford, Lacey Woodmore, Alli Sockey, and Will Ford; nine great nieces and nephews; uncles and aunts, Wes Ford, Frank and Ila Ford, Robbie Martin, Abbie and William Calhoun and Gail and Morris Murray. Doug was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents; Elmer and Alice Ford and maternal grandparents; Floyd and Voicie Henley. Services will be Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. graveside at Miners Cemetery. Marty Ford will officiate.
