Marlin 1st marriage was to Patricia Lou Rockwell. They lived on a farm northwest of Bird City, KS.,(Divorced).

His 2nd marriage was to Twila Potterf Oct. 29, 1985 in Goodland, KS. They resided on a farm outside of Bird City. Twila's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Charles of Goodland,(Divorced).

Marlin married the 3rd time, on April 26, 1993 in the First Congregational Church in Cambridge, NE., to Mary Trosper. Her mother is Myrtle Ruppert of McCook NE. Mary was an EMT with the Cambridge Rescue and also as a CSM at Cambrige Manor. They will make their home (Marlin's house) at 1008 East 11th, Goodland.

Marlin was a farmer and auctioneer. He died at age 61 from carbon dioxide poisoning.
