HARRY DITSLEAR CARDIAC VICTIM
Had Worked at Webster for 40 Years
Harry E. Ditslear, 63, of 458 Miami street, retired Webster Manufacturing, Inc., employee and a lifelong resident of Tiffin, died in Mercy hospital at 6:40 p. m. Tuesday, July 21, 1959.
Death was attributed to a cardiac condition. He had been ill since 1955 and his condition was serious since July 11.
Born Oct. 2, 1895, in Tiffin, he was a son of John and Molly Dyne Ditslear and was united in marriage with Rose Tufts, Oct. 2, 1912 in Tiffin. She survives.
Also surviving are sons, Howard, Delaware, O.; Richard, Tiffin; Robert, Winchester, Ind., and Harry, Morton Grove, Ind.; sister, Mrs. Ruth Whitcomb, Syracuse, Ind., and 15 grandchildren. A brother, Roy, is deceased.
Mr. Ditslear was an iron moulder and was employed at the Webster plant for 40 years before he retired in 1955 because of poor health.
He was a member of the Webster 25-year club and Local 254, Iron Moulders Union.
Services in the Turner funeral home will be at 2:30 p. m. Friday, with the Rev. Timothy Downey officiating. Burial will be in Fairmont cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p. m. today.
