Helen was born Oct. 28, 1917 to Fred and Ester Edna (Trench) Crowley in Mangum, Okla. She was a dedicated Christian, a devoted wife and mother and was a helpmate to her husband in the farming and ranching industry until his death in 1990.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years W H (Bud) Overton; her father and mother, Fred and Ester Crowley.
She is survived by two daughters, Yvonna Wilkins and husband Lloyd of Shawnee, Sandra Reynolds and husband Carl of Oklahoma City; four grandsons, Mark Wilkins and wife LeeAnn of Shawnee, Randy Curtis Reynolds and wife Leslee of Moore, Scott Wilkins and wife Liz of Katy, Texas, Keith Reynolds and wife Tommie of Moore; one foster grandson, Jeff Witcher of Atlanta, Georgia; eleven great-grandchildren, Caleb and Bethany Wilkins, Conner and Lauren Reynolds, Ryan, Morgan, Devon and Dalton Reynolds, Kaitlin, Gage and Garrett Witcher; one brother and one sister, Herman Crowley and wife Ruth of Oklahoma City; Melba Fox and husband Don of Oklahoma City and by numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Funeral services for Helen A. Overton were Saturday, July 31, at the Vinson First Baptist Church with the Rev. Harry Stallings officiating.
