Cassandra Larson Bain, 61, died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2009, at the North Mississippi Medical Center after a brief illness.
She was born Feb. 8, 1947, in Greenville to Edgar and Lillian Kelly Larson. She lived in many places, including Greenville and Montrose, CO prior to moving to Tupelo in 2002. She enjoyed birdwatching, working in her flower garden, and playing with her three cats and her dog, Lola.
She touched many lives during her 39-plus years as an R.N. She married her husband, Robbie Bain on July 7, 1999, and he was a great husband and caregiver to her in her times of need.
Survivors include her husband, Robbie Bain of Tupelo; one daughter, Kelly (Mike) Patterson of Pontotoc; one son, Tim Gafford of Tupelo; one stepson, Robbie Bain Jr. of Greenville; her mother-in-law, Wanda Bain of Greenville; one sister, Jobana (Leroy) Frey of Hollandale; nine grandchildren and two nephews.
