Mrs. Maude Millman, 75, pioneer resident of Eddy County, died suddenly last night shortly after she was taken to a local hospital. Her home in Carlsbad was at 213 North Eighth Street.
She and her late husband first came to the county 51 years ago. They had a home in Lakewood, and a ranch east of the Pecos River. In 1942, they moved to Carlsbad.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Dwight Lee, Miss Edna Millman, and Mrs. Ora Parker, all of Carlsbad; two sons, Carl of Carlsbad, and Ernest, El Paso; and two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are pending at West Funeral Home.
