Mose Regimbal married 'Elsie' about 1927. She once lived in Ste-Agathe, QC and was the daughter of Régis Longchamp and
Léocadie (Léa) Carrier.
She was born in Bromptonville, Qc on September 21, 1873 and baptized in her parish church on the 22nd. Her marker reflects the estimated date, like so many of her generation who were far removed from their birth place in time and distance.
The story goes, Mose traveled back to Canada after his first wife's death in 1926, and brought Élise back to live with him in Yakima, Washington.
But her residence there was so far distant from the original village of her husband, that I suspect he found her living in Minnesota, near Crookston or Gentilly, the towns where he lived with his brothers in the late 1880's.
The couple had no children. Mose died in 1941.
