Michael Allan "Mike" Smith, 58, of Nilwood died Monday, June 25, 2007.
He was born Oct. 27, 1948, the son of Albert Lewis and Verna Ailene Moffett Smith. He married Sue Stratton Smith.
Mr. Smith was a truck driver for Rovey Seed Co.
Surviving are his wife, Sue Smith of Nilwood; three sons, Scott Smith (Carla) of Auburn, Brent Stratton (Michele) of Virden and Jonathon Smith (Jessica) of Girard; seven grandchildren; six siblings, Howard Smith (Janice) of Girard, Richard Smith (Roberta) of Virden, Patricia Burke (Steve) of Louisburg, Kan.; Carol Hurley (Charles) of West Harrison, Ind., and Cathy Molen and Gail Smith, both of Taylorville.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2007, at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Girard. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 28, 2007, at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Girard. Burial will be in Mechanicsburg Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the family.
