Lou Taylor, age 85, of DeFuniak Springs, Florida, passed away Friday, July 16, 2010 at Chautauqua Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. She was born August 15, 1924 in Blountstown, Florida, to the late Emmett and Cindy Grace Carter. Lou was Baptist by faith and a member of East Baptist Church.
Lou is preceded in death by her parents and one sister.

Lou was a special and very gracious lady. She loved her family with all of her heart. I lost a true friend as well as a cousin. I could go to her for advice and she seemed to always have the right answer. I was so blessed to be able to spend quality time with her for a few years after moving closer. I treasure those happy times!
