MENDENHALL - Services were held at 2 p.m. Friday at Upton Funeral Home for Wilson Purser, 67, of Mendenhall, who died Wednesday at the V. A. Hospital in Jackson.
The Rev. Hueston Adkins and the Rev. David Yeager officiated. Interment was in Mendenhall Cemetery.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Candis Purser; six sons, Larry and Jimmy W., both of Puckett, Billy of Clinton, Jack, Joe Daniel and Stanley Purser, all of Mendenhall; two daughters, Mrs. Peggy Kirkland and Mrs. Brenda K. Bridges, both of Mendenhall; two brothers, R.T. of Batesville and Lamar Purser of Magee; three sisters, Mrs. Ernie Austin and Mrs. Ollie Pearson, both of Magee, and Mrs. Bera [s/b Vera] Harper of Pearl, and 11 grandchildren.
