Coleman Isaac Brown was 75 years old when he died on June 18th. He was a life long resident of Richmond County where he died at a local hospital. His funeral was held at Elliott's Funeral Home in Augusta, and burial was in WestView Cemetery. He was a brother to my great-grandfather Edward Eve Brown.

Once upon a time, there was a marker at his grave. I know because I had taken a picture of it. The last time I was at the cemetery, I could not locate his marker, or his grave. His daughter, Katie Bell, had put the marker on the grave. What happened to it, I do not know. Katie has passed away now, so I cannot ask her. The people at the cemetery office says he was buried in Elliot's section.

Coleman was the son of Absolom and Carolina Brown, and a brother to my great grandfather, Edward Eve Brown.
His daughter, Katie Bell, was first cousin to my grandfather, John Edward Brown., but she was closer in age to my mother Katherine Brown, and they were close all their lives.
