Creed F. Fulton, a resident of Newman Grove, Neb., died Saturday, December 5. He was 83 years old and had formerly lived in Tarkio.

Funeral services were conducted yesterday by the Rev. T. Grimmett at the Tucker funeral home in Westboro.

A son of James and Mary Christian, he was born September 20, 1859 south of Rock Port. He was one of a family of six children. At the age of three years, he moved with his parents to Tarkio, where he lived until a young man. In 1885, he was married to Mary Caroline Clark.

Mr. and Mrs. Christian moved from Tarkio to Newman Grove, Nebraska in 1919. Mr. Christian remained there with the exception of a short time with his daughters until his death. Mrs. Christian died October 14, 1939. When a young man, he became a member of the First Baptist Church of Tarkio.

He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Charles Custard of Pueblo, Colorado and Mrs. Glenn Scott of Tarkio; a brother, J. E. Christian of Pine River, Minnesota; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A son, Lee R. Christian, died four years ago.

Burial was in Center Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Ferrell McNaughton, Frank Currie, Elmer Ross, Charles Hurst, Robert Currie, and Clayton Scott.
