Ada Jane ROBERTS, 97, of Mt. Vernon died 9:45 p.m. Feb. 28, 2001, at
Casey Care Center in Mt. Vernon.
She was a nursing aid at Anna Mental Center in Anna and St. Francis
Hospital in Peoria.
Mrs. ROBERTS was born Jan. 29, 1904, in Jefferson County to James R.
and Elsie (BIRKHEAD) NEAL. She first married Algie DALE and then married
Clyde ROBERTS Nov. 14, 1957, in Tupelo, Miss.; he died Oct. 16, 1989.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at the Hughey Funeral
Home in Mt. Vernon. The Rev. Kenneth HOLLAND will officiate. Burial will
be at the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Dahlgren
