HOMER FOWLER PASSES AWAY
Winona Youth Dies from Cerebro Spinal Fever in Michigan
The many friends of Mr. & Mrs. W.C. Fowler, in this section, were deepley grieved to learned of the death of their son, Homer, aged 20, who passed away Monday in Pontiac, Mich., from an attack of cerebro spinal fever. Young Fowler only left Winona aout 3 weeks ago to accept a position with the Pontiac Motor Co.
The remains were brought to Winona Tuesday & laid to rest at Vaiden in Odd Fellows cemetery Wedesday afternoon. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. J.V. Cobb, formerly of Vaiden, & now Presbyterian pastor of Sardis, assisted by Rev. Melville Johnson, local Methodist pastor. Funeral arrangements were in charge of Whitehead & Webster.
The Times joins with the many friends of the bereaved parents in extending deepest sympathy to them in their sorrow.
