Millie was a good friend of my mother's. I believe they met while they were in high school. Millie arranged the blind date that first brought my parents together in December, 1946, so Millie has always had a very special place in the heart of our family. My mother lost contact with Millie many years ago, but always spoke of her with great affection. Mom said Millie had a warm and outgoing personality and she was a lot of fun to be around. Mom never forgot her.
