Her father was Joachim Johann "Friederich" Grüschow, born in 1809 in Ulrichshusen (Rambow), Mecklenburg-Schwerin (Germany).
Her mother was Luise Lempke Gruschow, b. 1811 in Gutschow (Gulzow District), Prussia (Germany)
The family started using the surname of Grasho & Grisho in the USA. She was also known as Minnie Grasho.
She married William Volorous Beckwith on Feb 02, 1860 in Chautauqua Co., NY. They had seven children.
