Slaughters – Elmo Scott 69 of the Slaughters area died at 5:30 am Sunday at Community Hospital in Henderson. He was a resident of the Mt Gilead community near Slaughters.

Survivors: Wife Henrietta Hayes Scott;

Sons James Elmo Scott and Michael Eugene Scott both of Slaughters.

Daughters Glenda Scott of St Louis and Loretta Allen of Slaughters;

Brothers Bill Scott of Onton, J C Scott and David Scott both of Hanson; Ben Scott of Madisonville and Elson Scott of Slaughters;

Seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services: 2 pm today at Tompkins and Son Funeral Home Slaughters-Hanson Chapel, with Revs Rex H Childs and Ronny Stubberfield officiating.

Burial: Onton Cemetery. **
