Bernard Burton

Shackelfords, Aug. 31 - Bernard Burton, son of the late Joe and Mrs. Otelia Adkins Burton died suddenly Thursday afternoon at his home near Plane View(sic). The funeral was conducted Saturday afternoon by the Rev. F. W. England, and the burial was in the family section at Shackelford's chapel. Mr. Burton, who was 54 years of age, is survived by a sister, Mrs. Ruby Gebhardt of Richmond and a brother, Harold Burton of Baltimore.
