East Peoria, IL - Gary S. Frye, 51, of 211 1/2 Marion died at 4:18 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 18, 1997, at his home.
Born Dec. 3, 1946, in Wears Valley, Tenn., to Daniel and Barbara Moore Frye, he married Margaret Whitman on Aug. 16, 1986, in East Peoria. She survives.
Also surviving are one son, David of East Peoria; two daughters, Mrs. Mike (Stephanie) Walton of Creve Coeur and Mrs. Rob (Eugena) Brinker of Sunnyland; five brothers, Bill, Johnny, Charlie and Roger, all of the state of Tennessee, and Winfred of Louisiana; four sisters, Lucille McClure of Morton, Colleen Huskey and Mrs. Darryll (Judy) Catlett, both of the state of Tennessee, and Mrs. Louis (Marcia) Messick of the state of Tennessee; and three grandchildren.
Two brothers preceded him in death.
He worked in the shipping department at Caterpillar Inc. in Building SS for 33 years.
Burial will be in Fondulac Cemetery.
