Lloyd Orville Leines was born February 27, 1922 to Nels and Emma Leines in Buffalo, South Dakota.

Lloyd graduated from Buffalo High School in 1941.

Lloyd married Gladys Shinabarger in March of 1947.

Lloyd was a good carpenter, electrician and mechanic. He worked for Vance Hunsucker in Vance's Garage in Buffalo for several years. Lloyd also worked for various ranchers in the area. Lloyd worked the longest at the ranch of John and Arda Dahl, he enjoyed their family so much. Lloyd had many friends.

Lloyd suffered a stroke in 1984 and was entered the Long Term Health Care Center in Belle Fourche. Lloyd passed away on September 21, 1991 at the Long Term Health Care Center.

He leaves to mourn two sisters, Mildred Vigoren and Roselle Carter and many nieces and nephews. Lloyd was preceded in death by his mother and father, and two sisters, Norma Lewis and Thelma Meyers.
