Obituary published in the Big Spring Herald on Sunday, December 5, 1976:

Mrs. Edna Wilkinson, 84, died in Pine Valley Nursing Home in Tyler Saturday after a long illness.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Trinity Baptist Church with the Dr. Claude Craven, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Trinity Memorial Park with Nalley-Pickle Funeral Home in charge.
Born April 26, 1892 in Granbury, she married Stevens Rice Wilkinson Nov. 15, 1908 in Weatherford. They came to Howard County Sept. 3, 1921 to the R-Bar community from Boyd. He preceded her in death June 17, 1938.
Mrs. Wilkinson moved to Colorado City in 1950 and returned to Big Spring in 1956 and has been in Tyler for the past year. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
She is survived by four sons, Hoy Wilkinson, Carrollton; Everett Wilkinson, Ingleside; S. R. Wilkinson, Colorado City; and James Wilkinson, Brady; three daughters, Mrs. Lola Brown, Murchinson; Mrs. Almarene Jones, Tyler; and Mrs. Theo Deel of Big Spring; one brother, E. T. Stalcup, Sand Springs; one half brother, Herman Petty, California; one step brother, Oley Petty, Sand Springs; one step sister, Mrs. Cordie Mason, Big Spring; 20 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. She was preceded in death by one son and one grandson.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
