Lillie C. Petty passed away on Friday, November 9, 2012 at 6:30 AM in Houma, LA.
Beloved wife of the late Crit Petty, Jr. Mother of Charles Edwin Petty and wife Barbara, David Crit Petty and wife Cheryl, Mary Jean Petty Chester and husband Arthur L. Chester and the late Michael Harris Petty and Suzanne Petty. Daughter of the late John Levi Cobb and Lula Mae Bearden Cobb. Sister of John L. Cobb and the late Eloise Cobb Todaro. Also survived by 8 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 2 grandchildren. A native of Caddo Parish and a resident of Des Allemands, LA. Age 92 years. She was a member of the The Eastern Star, Luling United Methodist Church and owner of Deep South Floral and Gift Shop.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral. Religious services on Monday, November 12, 2012 at 12:00 PM at Falgout Funeral Homes, L.L.C., 3838 Highway 1, Raceland, LA. Visitation form 10:00 AM until funeral time Monday at the funeral home. Interment in Bethsaide Cemetery, Ida, LA on Wednesday.
