Karl "Caesar" was born in Laasphe, Siegen-Wittgenstein, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany/Prussia
Married: Louisa Christina Fisher in 1833 in Laasphe.
Emigrated: Karl/Carl and family emigrated from Landsberg (or Andsberg?) Prussia to Indianola, Calhoun Co, Texas in 1848 on the ship "Palmetto".
Military & Occupation: He served as a Lieutenant of Artillary in the Prussian Army. In the 1860 De Witt County Census he was listed as farmer and merchant.
Karl "Caesar" and his wife Louisa are both buried in Westside Cemetery, as are a number of their descendents. His mother reportedly died of tuberculosis on June 2, 1817 and his father (re: Evangelical Parish Office records)
