Friday morning Mrs. Sarah Adkinson, who had been dangerously ill for some weeks, passed away at the residence of Mr. O. S. Rue, where she had rooms since her return form Florida early in the spring . She was the widow of William Adkinson and was 61 years of age and the last of her immediate family, as she leaves no children. Two sisters, Mrs. Mattingly, of Tennessee, and Mrs. Beller, of Nebraska, were at her bedside. The funeral took place at the Christian church, of which she was a devoted and energetic worker, Saturday afternoon at 4 o'clock, conducted by Rev. M. G. Buckner and the remains were laid to rest beside her husband and son in Spring Hill. She was a woman much liked and respected in the community.
