NEW WATERFORD ---- Florence L. Buhecker, 86, of 1058 Kibler Road, died of a heart attack at 1:42 a.m. Tuesday at Northern Columbiana County Community Hospital where she was
a patient for one day.

She was born Jan. 219, 1898 in Unity Township, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Sevilla Greiner Stacy. She lived all her life in the area.

She was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church of East Palestine, the Women's Bible Class and the Sewing Circle.
She was also a member of the Auxiliary of Benjamin Firestone Post 290 of the American Legion of Columbiana, the Columbiana Senior Citizens, the Monday Night Card Club and the Columbiana County Farm Bureau.

She was preceded in death Oct. 15, 1957 by her husband,
Raymond Buhecker, whom she married June 25, 1919. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Allan ( Ruth ) Chamberlin of Leetonia; a son Charles Buhecker of New Waterford;
a grandson Edward Strohecker of Columbiana whom she raised; a brother, Raymond Stacy of New Middletown; 11
grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Esther Louise Strohecker on Oct. 21, 1944, and three brothers, Park Stacy, Otto Stacy and Carl Stacy.

Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Grace Lutheran Church of East Palestine where the body will lie in state from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. The Rev. K.R. Wenger will officiate. Burial will be in Glenview Cemetery in East Palentine. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m Thursday at the Warrick-Kummer Funeral Home of Columbiana.
