Hall-Park

Coming as a complete surprise to a wide circle of relatives and friends is the announcement of the marriage of Miss Cecile Elizabeth Hall, of Neshannock Falls, daughter of William G. and the late Anna Haney Hall, to James G. Park, of South Walnut street, this city, son of the late Wallace and Anna White Park.
The ceremony was performed in Pittsburgh by the Rev. George W. Schmidt of St. John's Lutheran church, Saturday, May 5, 1934, The couple was unattended.
The bride, who was graduated from the Harlansburg high school and who attended Slippery Rock State Teachers College, has been a teacher in the Lawrence county schools for several terms. During the past four terms she served as principal of Hickory Heights Consolidated school.
The groom is affiliated with the Shenango Sheet and Tin Plate company.

Cecile Hall Park, 99, formerly of New Wilmington, died the evening of July 9, 1999, in Overlook Medical Clinic. Mrs. Park was born June 10, 1900, and was married to Grant Park. He preceded her in death. She was a retired teacher. Arrangements will be announced on Monday by Smith Funeral Home of New Wilmington.

Cecile H. Park, 99, of New Castle Street, New Wilmington, a 35-year teacher in Lawrence County, died at the Overlook Medical Clinic, New Wilmington, the evening of July 9, 1999.
Born in Neshannock Falls on June 10, 1900, she was the daughter of William H. and Anna Haney Hall.
She was married to Grant Park.
Mrs. Park's teaching career included Hickory Heights and Volant Schools.
She was a member of Neshannock Presbyterian Church of New Wilmington, the American Association of Retired Persons and the Pennsylvania State Education Association Retirees.
She was a graduate of Slippery Rock University.
Survivors include nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by an infant son; five sisters, Nettie Hall, Nellie Holmes, Elsie Cheers, Frances Buchanan and Florence Cummins; and two brothers, Harry Hall and William Hall.
Visitation was yesterday at the Smith Funeral Home of New Wilmington. A service was conducted this morning by Rev. William H. Stone III of Neshannock Presbyterian Church. Burial was in Graceland Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the New Castle City Rescue Mission.
