Raymond Lee Booten, 65, of Shoquoquon, Ill., died at 9:21 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2003, at his home.
Born Dec. 4, 1937, in Burlington, he was the son of Raymond Loren and Myrtle Leaverton Booten. On Sept. 15, 2000, he married Angela Walters in Oquawka, Ill.
Mr. Booten was an ironworker and member of Local No. 577.
He was of the Protestant faith. He was a Marine Corps veteran.
Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Tammy Davis of Burlington; one stepson, Joe Walters of Macomb, Ill.; three grandsons; five sisters, Joanne Schrader of Fort Madison, Shirley Edwards of Mediapolis, Francis Lewis of Gladstone, Ill., Loraine Bishop of Boca Raton, Fla., Laura Cox of Atlanta and Hope Mills of North Carolina; one brother, Loren Booten of Burlington; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
There will be no visitation or service for Mr. Booten.
A memorial has been established for Blessing Hospice.
Prugh Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
