Orangeburg - Margaret Argoe Griffith, 71, a retired employee with J. W. Smoak's, died Saturday in a local hospital. The funeral will be at 4 p.m. today in St. George Baptist Church. Burial, directed by Dukes-Harley Funeral Home, will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Griffith was born in Orangeburg, a daughter of Henry C. Argoe and Lillie M. Croft Argoe. She was an active member of St. George Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband, Watson L. Griffith; a son, Watson L.
