William Homer Green, 63, the co-owner of European Auto Service in his native Phoenix until retiring this March, died Wednesday, Oct. 9, 1968, in his home, 904 E. Orange Drive.

Mr. Green was a member of the Central United Methodist Church, The Independent Order of Foresters, Arizona Rebekah Lodge 1 and worked with the Boys Scouts and Junior Odd Fellows. During his 40-year membership with Odd Fellows Lodge 2, he served as grand master of the jurisdiction of Arizona in 1965, grand patriarch of the Grand Encampment, was a past commander of Patriarchs Militant and was a recipient of the Grand Decoration of Chivalry, the highest award given for the Odd Fellows.

Services will be tomorrow in Bethany Chapel, 710 W. Bethany Home where friends may call today. Burial with an Odd Fellows funeral committee assisting, will be in Memory Lawn Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth; a brother, Roy; and a sister, Gertrude Green, all of Phoenix.
